After the long awaited 2018/2019 JAMB CBT registration form is yet officially out on sale

The below information is based on 2017 JAMB UTME, and you should use this post as Guildline as to know how 2017 Jamb was conducted, but once 2018/2019 JAMB CBT Examination commerces, it would be updated here on Jambadmission.com.ng

Candidates can now make payment for UTME 2017 fees via Remita on http://www.jamb.org.ng . Login and click on Sale of Form to proceed as you go scroll down this page, you will see list of JAMB accredited centers and cybercafe.

2017 JAMB CBT exam will have a total of 180 questions within 2 hours. Do you prefer this new adjustment? Below is the break-down.

• Use of English – 60 questions
• Subject 2 – 40 questions
• Subject 3 – 40 questions
• Subject 3 – 40 questions

According to JAMB, this is caused by the following;

1. A very high rate of candidates buying ePINS without creating their profile first.
2. Incorrect email address provided at the bank teller
3. Recent enforcement of email validation of candidates emails. Candidates who have not created their profile properly would be affected.
4. Unforeseen technical issues in the PIN vending system.

If you are one of those affected by this, here are the next steps you are to take.

1. Do NOT to buy new pins in the case of invalid pins. The cause of the invalid pin has been investigated.
2. All candidates having invalid pins responses have been captured on the system and will receive their PIN details on or before jambadmission.com.ng Monday 27th March,2017.
3. Emails with candidate name, email and valid pins will be sent to candidates before Monday 27th March 2017.

To avoid the issue of invalid E-PIN, candidates MUST ensure.

1. They create their profiles before proceeding to buy the ePIN. D ePIN vendors (Banks) can create d profile before vending the pin.
2. Each candidate’s email address will now be verified on the system before e-PINS are vended.
3. Any candidate with an incorrect email address will not be served. It therefore requires entering the same valid email address twice.
4. All candidates are to ensure that they provide valid phone numbers.
5. Candidates are encouraged to utilize only Jamb accredited Centers and ensure they do not patronize fraudsters.

1. JAMB 2017 Exams begins on 6th May to 20th May, 2017 (Excluding May 12, 2017 because of candidates sitting for WAEC's further Maths)

2. Sales of Jamb 2017 form will end on Wednesday, 19th April 2017. Registration portal closes on Saturday 22nd April 2017.

3. The Jamb 2017 fee is 5,500 naira. This includes Registration fees, Reading text amd all other document(Syllabus and brochure)

4. For Direct Entry candidates, Application will be on sale from Sunday 23rd April 2017.


5. Jamb has not cancelled awaiting result. Anyone is free to apply for the 2017 Jamb with awaiting result. The deal is - your result must be ready during screening to qualify for admission into any school.

Important guidelines when doing your 2017/2018 jamb registration

1. The first week of registration will b jam-packed because the registration comes very late so am imploring candidates not to register in this week. 2016 candidates will stil remember what happen on the 27th of Feb and the following two days when they start writin their exams. Please this system error could also happen when registering
Jamb.

2. If you start your registration the second or third month jamb started i can bet it you will still see available center in ur choice of state, especially Lagosian candidates. So there is no need to be in a rush. Just avoid registering the first week.

3. After your biometric capture at CBT center you can choose to complete ur registration there or you go else where and complete it on ur own. I will advice here that if U kno u are computer literate you
complete it there on ur own because CBT center will not have enough computer operators to assist every candidate. And if U are not computer literate look for cybercafe that knos how and complete it successfully


4. Any mistakes that occurred during registration is N2500 each eg: change of course and institution, correction of names, correction of DOB, correction of state of origin, gender mistakes and etc.

5. Lastly, since every candidate will have an
individual account with Jamb is better to create your jamb account now. It saves U and CBT center more time. It is through this account U wil register, check & print your admission letter, print ur jamb result, do ur correction of data and etc Jamb account creation is N500 wit us bt if you have an existing email is N300. We can do it and send ur login details back to U via email address we'll create for U. We only need ur Surname, First Name, Middle name, sex, Date Of Birth, Mobile Number, State of Origin, Local Government.

These are the procedures for obtaining 2016/2017 JAMB CBT FORM

The JAMB CBT TEST 2017 UTME scratch cards will commerce sales starting from early November 2016  and can be purchased from any of the following banks

The JAMB CBT UTME FORM will be sold at the rate of five thousand naira only N5,000 into any of the above bank. You might pay extra amount of N500 for any material or books recommended in JAMB.

Prospective candidates who are to participate in this years 2017 JAMB CBT UTME examination are encouraged to obtained the application forms early as well as fill their bio data correctly to avoid any mad rush or deadline.

Entry qualifications and Remarks

>The general entry requirements approved for admission into the First Degree, National Diploma (ND) National Innovation Diploma (NID), and Nigeria Certificate in Education (NCE) programmes in Universities, other Degree-Awarding Institutions, Monotechnics, Polytechnics, Innovation Enterprise Institutes and Colleges of Education are available in the Brochure which accompanies registration materials.

According to the new JAMB Board’s regulated registration exercise, only the accredited Computer Based Test Centres will be allowed to register candidates.

• When you've completed purchase of the e-registration scratch cards, the below list of documents will be given to candidates wishing to write the examination:
• Syllabus for the examination in soft copy.
• Guidelines on admission (Brochure) in soft copy detailing list of Tertiary Institutions and available programmes of study.
• Please note that the items listed above are at NO EXTRA cost to the candidate, and writing materials and calculator will be made available to candidates on the day of the examination.

General Information about JAMB 2017

1. The JAMB UTME registration fee, once paid is non-refundable.

2. Registration for the Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) is On-line (via internet) and all applicants are advised to register by themselves. All required information must be provided.

3. Applicants are advised to read and understand the instructions on how to complete the online registration before visiting any CBT centre,

4. Candidates should study the guidelines on admission before registration.

5. Candidates will purchase Jamb CBT form using scatch card, POS, or any other online payment means.

6. Multiple entries are not allowed. Candidates who register more than once will have their entire results cancelled.

7. Candidates should note that their uploaded image or photograph will be embossed on their result slips and admission letters.

8. Candidates can access the Board’s website on: www.jamb.org.ng for registration using the registration scratch card. Registration can be done on the website at anytime within the stipulated registration period through any of the accredited and authorised CBT centres .

9. Candidates are to note that irrespective of their choice of course of study or method of testing, they will also be tested on a general book.
